Formally a Curator for the British Council working in national museums globally, Director, Strategy for Futurecity, Public Art Project Manager for Crossrail and currently Head of Consultancy, Contemporary Art Society.
Over a 25-year career in the cultural sector, I have shaped and delivered numerous cultural placemaking strategies and public art commissions across the UK including development of the Crossrail Art Programme Strategy and delivery of 10 major public art commissions located in seven central London Elizabeth line stations.
A deep belief in bringing diverse stakeholders together alongside tested and proven methodologies developed to embed art into the public realm design and fabrication process and community-led, collaborative strategic cultural placemaking are key to my work.
I also build innovative funding partnerships between stakeholders in the development of cultural masterplanning and small-scale urban regeneration projects. Since entering the field of Public Art and Cultural Placemaking in 2007, I have authored and contributed to numerous cultural and public art strategies for local authorities, government agencies and private developers throughout the UK.
Please do get in touch if you would like to discuss a possible public art commission, placemaking requirement, S.106 or CIL commitment, SPD or cultural strategy. I look forward to discussing your project.
